Our Team

Every single one of our nursery practitioners is fully qualified and has a genuine passion for childcare. They love nothing more than helping children develop as individuals, guiding them through the first stages of their lives. Here you can discover what really makes our team special.

Ian – Nursery Manager

My name is Ian and I am the Manager at YMCA Day Nursery. I have a passion for working with young children, providing a positive environment and helping them as individuals to develop. I have been fortunate enough through my experiences to work with children in some of the poorest parts of the world which has inspired me to ensure children have the best start in life. I have been involved with YMCA movement for many years and believe the YMCA approach to inspire children and young people can make a difference to society. I really like that YMCA North Tyneside works with some of the youngest and oldest members of our community. In my spare time, I love spending time with my wife and two children.
