Our baby room is a bright and spacious room for our 0-2-year-olds with an adjoining sleep room so that babies are carefully watched over at all times by our experienced staff. The baby room has a loosely structured routine to allow them lots of opportunities to play, explore and learn.

Our babies have breakfast from 8 am – 8.45am which consists of toast, cereals and Weetabix (their favourite), ensuring a nutritious diet with options for different pallets.

Once breakfast is finished the babies can explore the room and staff set out activities that children are interested in which are supported by our in the moment planning system. This system focuses on each child’s individual interests. Babies are then offered a morning snack which consists of fresh fruit, vegetables and breadsticks.

After snacks, the babies then get to explore the baby room further as well as other areas of the nursery such as our newly developed outdoor space or our sensory room where they can benefit from stimulating their senses.

Babies will then have lunch, which consists of a varied healthy menu. Staff encourage babies to feed themselves as they get older which helps to promote their physical and mental development.

After lunch, it’s back to exploring the baby room and following the same routine in the afternoon as the morning, before indulging in an afternoon snack and tea time.

We love really getting to know every parent and guardian to ensure that all our babies routines are catered for and staff do a great job of knowing each individual child’s needs. Babies can sleep at any point through the day in our cosy sleep room and staff also bottle-feed younger babies when feeds are required… We always try to stick to each babies home routine as much as possible.
