Jubilee Tea Party

Over 60 children, staff, parents and carers came together to celebrate during our Platinum Jubilee Tea Party. Everyone had a fantastic time! It was our first Stay and Play post-COVID restrictions and what a delight it was to see the joy on the children’s faces as they took part in Jubilee-themed activities alongside their parents and carers. Lisa, our Nursery cook, prepared a lovely afternoon picnic for everyone with finger sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes. It all went down exceedingly well and we’re looking forward to the next Stay and Play!

Supporting Families this Christmas

2021 has impacted many of us financially and emotionally, especially after the events of the previous year. Many have been furloughed or lost their jobs due to Covid, not to mention the reduction in Universal Credit. So, over the past few months we have partnered with The Works in North Shields whose customers have kindly donated new toys, books and activities to support some members of our nursery family. Each donation will help us support some of our more vulnerable families this Christmas, making sure the families can give their children a happier Christmas this year.
